Last night I had a dream I was this girl. I've tried very hard to look and act and think Grown Up. I've haven't given it up, ...but since this is who I am on the inside and it may take a while to teach and train her - even to tame her. I grew up in Cardston and my ward family was the Lamanite Branch and they loved me as their own family even though I had lighter skin. My Mom made me a ribbon dress so I could be like the other little girls when danced at the Pow-Wow. So when I see this picture it reminds me of my childhood. Staying here in Cardston has been so sweet, I am even right beside the temple, like I was as a child. Still, it is time for me to travel. I'm headed south, to Rexburg for a while. I think it will be fun. I miss the sun and grass and flowers and warm air. And it is usually in abundance down there. So I will see you all later. Who knows for how long. Maybe I'll be a grown -up when you see me next. Won't that be exciting!

Yay! I'm so happy you came to see me! This way we can stay in touch more surely. I will try to put more pictures up and more of what I'm doing. So far it hasn't been much. It was actually snowing in Rexburg. We went to get Gloria from BYU-I. I went to her graduation. It was awesome.

Oh! Joy! Chris just had a birthday and now he is a year! That is so great! When we picked up Gloria from Idaho we were chatting on the way home how much we love you and your children. We talked about how intelligent and personable they are. (I just worry I'll be an example that they shouldn't follow...sitting on the counter...eating popcorn for lunch...If you tell what I should do, I will because I want to be the best Aunt I can.)

Julie. It's Susan F. Getting your note in the mail made my day! More than you can imagine. You are a kindred spirit and a gem of a woman. I would really like to talk to you privately before you go to Edmonton. Please call or email me at susanatruly@yahoo.ca

If you miss sun and grass and flowers and warm air, you better not go to Rexburg just now... Try Mexico! It's further south. Even Utah is still, well, pretty darn cold from what I hear.
