This is my friend Trudy! Our friendship is one of the gifts Heavenly Father gave me when I began my journey to Salt Lake City. As I was packing up what I would need and storing what I wouldn't at my parents house, I got to know her. She and her sister Sarah lived with my parents during the school year.
I love her so much! I wish we could be together and maybe someday we will. She is one of the invited writers to this blog plus she has her own. I thought we could keep in touch that way but she has exceeded my expectations and really made it her own thing! Very impressive!

We had a fun together while we could - Hey girls!

That was a typical evening at home. After family prayers and scripture study. Sweet!

But now I am here in Salt Lake. Learning about my great grandparents who also left lives they enjoyed and businesses and friends and family and followed where God led them.

Life is a long journey back home - but in the end - if we walk it humbly He nourishes us constantly and we have the guarantee that everything we lost will be restored plus good things we can't even comprehend.

But its you that I wish I could have with me right now! Waiting for you is like waiting for heaven to come. I believe in it - but it seems like a long ways away and I pray every day to be happy and productive and serve and study and be safe and obedient until then.

Having Trudy and Sarah in our home was a great blessing and a lot of fun. They are such loving people, and are Jesus'lambs. I'm hoping to have them come with us to the family gathering in Glenwood. They seem to belong with our family.
It is good to see you in Salt Lake in your blue and white - faith and divine nature personified. It is your journey and we wish we could be closer all the time. Thanks for gathering family stories and pictures to bless us all.

You are a faithful sister and example of a true disciple of Christ. I love and respect you very much.
I wish you could make it to Gloria's wedding.I am glad you are where God wants you to be. How does it feel?
It feels like I am close to you guys. Like there is a strong thick invisable thread connecting all of us and we are goin gto end up together and every good thing you do and every good thing I do will benefit the other. I feel like I am preapring a feast of fat things for you to enjoy when the time comes for that. And to it you and Gloria and Mom and Trudy and Dad and Jon and Sharon will bring the good things they have been working on. And it is going to be worth it. Worth the sacrifices we are making and any hardship we encounter. I love you so much! And when I make good choices over stupid ones I feel like I'm doing you a favor by not flaking out - so your load will be lighter. We are going to work side by side to build happy families and communities and so on! Love you girls! YOu like totally ROCK!
