Today we simultaneously celebrated the 80's and Thanksgiving at school.
I brought garlic mashed potatoes for the potluck and I dressed up a little.
My teacher took one look at me and shook her head. "Don't worry, we'll have one of the girls do your make-up. " She was so pleased with the final outcome.
Yes, that mark on my cheek is where one of the girls kissed me. The teacher had kisses on both cheeks. The rest of us just had one. And this is how I looked for the rest of the day. This is how I looked picking up yogurt in Safeway. The sales clerk looked like she wanted me to explain myself, and didn't know how to ask. There is no explanation. I live in Girl World Gone Wild! For the potuck it was some turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, buns and vegetables - but mostly it nacho platters and brownies. Thick moist gooey brownies with decadant fudge toppings and sprinkles. Looking at the dessert table I was surprised at all the ways a person could incorporate chocolate into food. And when we were done eating we just left and went back to playing with make-up!

Hi Julie!!
Hi Will! So I moved to Red Deer and now I go to school in Girl World!
lol I love it Julie!! I would have loved to have been there at Safeway with you (and at school). That sounds like a ton of fun and yummy food, which is always a good thing.
You are with me Sharon. I take you with me in my heart everywhere and then tell you about it in my blog. I'm glad you also want to come with me, that I'm not kidnapping you in my heart.
Yay! There you are again. Thanks for inviting me. I was sorely disappointed when I couldn't get to your blog anymore. I enjoy corn mazes. I've always been to the easy ones, though - where you just have to walk from beginning to end. But they are still fun. :) And I celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving for the first time in I don't know how long this weekend - minus the make-up, of course. It was yummy! (the food. Not make-up)
I'm glad you are back too Heidi, you are part of the gang here. We love you. I'm excited to share this school experience I'm having with you, every day is out of the ordinary.
