Well, I hope everyone enjoyed these past few days the way that they like most. I know I did. I had really good naps on some really plush couches to the melodic sounds of crowds playing wild Rook games while feasting on cheese balls and cream puffs. Oh, I did go to a house party where the couches were all taken up by boys wishing they had courage enough to talk to the cute girls who you saw right away were preparing themselves to make it big in Hollywood (as Lindsay Lohan stunt doubles.) And that was fine because I couldn't have napped anyway with the speakers rocking out right behind me. I found myself involuntarily dancing a couple of times so I got myself to the realtive safety of the festive food spread. And there I met a Southern Alberta celebrity and got my picture taken with him several times. Hopefully he tags it to me on facebook! The rest of the time I have been arranging furniture in my apartment and ...um, I've been .... I mentioned sleeping already so I can't use that again. Oh! I ....no, that's not very interesting. What about you? What have you been up to?

Do you know Cody Pollock? Of the Pollock Frolic? I wish there was a video of A Day in the Life of Cody Pollock so I could watch it when I want a good laugh.
Cody Pollock... that does sound vaugely familiar. I've no idea why though.
Anyways, I spent my Christmas on a certain farm in the general area of Brooks, AB. Many naps were taken, many movies watched, and many gallons of egg nog were drunk. Drank. Whatever.
New Years was also pretty laid back, playing on my friends Nintendo Wii till midnight and then watching Transformers as she snored. Ahh such good times.
Ah, wonderful parties and napping that sounds good. I didn't get much napping done as seventy percent of the time I had at least one niece or nephew hanging off me. Yes I was visiting family for Christmas :D It wasn't a very white Christmas but that is to be expected when you've taken a road trip to California. Yah it was nice, we went hiking Christmas day and the next day enjoyed a picnic at the park.
The wonders of family Christmases...I ended up visiting both sides of the family, and spending many hours sitting in the van traveling with the family all over the province. But it was good to see the family, and I saw a couple of movies along the way. For New Year's, I flew down to California, and caught up with a wonderful girl. (You can read about some of my reflections after I got back on my blog). Now back to the "real world"...
