She was firm about earning money and going to college but, after I found her a rockin outfit to wear, she dropped all that nonsense. As Jon, our big brother, pointed out in one of our planning sessions for stardom - college leads to nothing but broken dreams. It was so warming to see Eliza pick up my new guitar and break it in to the tune of When You Say Nothing At All.
I knew we'd made the right decision for her life. She's going to be so much happier riding the fickle yet worthwhile road to garage band glory with us than getting stuck in some 9 to 5 career! Wouldn't you say?

What a bunch of bologne! My feelings towards my future plans are very much unchanged...but when they get rich and famous I may reconsider.
Poor Eliza, other people making decisions for you. I'm so glad that you've decided against joining the band to follow your own dreams, even if they do get broken. It's always good to have a dream. Being "Rich and Famous" is pretty tempting though. Hmmm can I joing too?
We would love to have you! Hearing you and Jon singing and playing Make A Memory together this holiday has been so inspiring. I can't believe he only picked up the guitar two days ago! Yes, talk to Jon and see if he wants to take a break from engineering and you and he and Emma and Chris could be in our band. I can just imagine how much fun this is going to be!
Eliza? You won't be in the band? I don't think you realize how serious we are about this.
I guess everyone needs to follow their calling in life. . .
Its good to have music to unite the family, but everyone doesn't have to be in the band to enjoy jamming together.
Okay....I'm well entertained by the antics on this blog. You people are hilarious!
